Transgender Day of Remembrance

Each year, our community honors Transgender Day of Remembrance on the week of November 20th to recognize our Transgender community whose lives have been taken. In addition, we host our Trans Week fo Action event series to highlight advocacy and visibility of our transgender and non-binary community.

We Are Here: Reading the Now, Writing the Future
Monday (11/17) | 1-2 PM | LGBTRC

Join us for a powerful session of learning and reflecting about transgender history. We will learn about trans activism as well as hold space for ourselves to write letters for the future version of us that are yet to exist. 

Gender-Affirming Care Resources 101
Monday (11/17) | 4-6 PM | LGBTRC

Join STRIDE for an information session that will explore various resources for UCSD students seeking or interested in learning about medical, social, and legal transition, as well as information for traveling while trans.

Queer Sex Ed Bingo
Wednesday (11/19) | 5-6 PM | LGBTRC

Join us at the LGBTRC for a night of friendly competition and education! This year's first Queer Sex Ed Bingo aligns with Transgender Visibility Week to celebrate Trans lives and to provide information on Trans health and well-being! There will be prizes at stake, so bring your game face!!

Candle Light Vigil at the LGBTRC to remember honor trans and gender diverse people who passed away in the last year, honor grief, and celebrate life and existing.
