UC San Diego LGBT Resource Center Internship Program

The overall goal of the UC San Diego LGBT Resource Center Internship program is to develop LGBT interns in their leadership practice in order to enhance and increase the broader LGBTQIA+ movement and contribute to a more just, equitable society for the future.

LGBT Resource Center Interns will develop skills and competency in the following areas:

There are 9 paid undergraduate internship positions available for 10 hours a week and pay $12.50 per hour.

2018-2019 LGBT Resource Center Internship Program Application

The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Resource Center (LGBT RC) Interns are the front line representatives of the LGBT RC to the UC San Diego community. Interns maintain good connections with all community members by creating and maintaining the LGBT Resource Center as an open and public space to explore issues of gender identity, sexual orientation, and romantic attraction. Interns are responsible for completing their specific internship area based on their position(either programming, operations, or community engagement), front desk reception, and completing an academic component.
